Director
Set at a 1997 East L.A. house party, the film draws from a world Airis grew up around, shaped by culture, music, old photos, and family stories. Airis developed the project through research and archival footage she obtained from the time period, that brings an authentic, lived-in perspective to the screen.
At its core, the film explores connection, vulnerability, and the moments that stay with us. Supporting this project helps bring an honest, underrepresented story to life and allows Airis to share an unseen subculture and piece of her community with a wider audience.
