Amid the music, love, and chaos of a 1997 East L.A. house party, a young man torn between loyalty and love joins his reckless friend on a run-of-the-mill beer run, where guns and pride enter the mix, and one impulsive choice shatters their world forever.
Sophia Gibgot is a Los Angeles native filmmaker and current NYU film student dedicated to championing stories that center women’s voices and perspectives. Passionate about creating films that resonate deeply, challenge audiences, and leave a lasting impact, she has gained hands-on industry experience at acclaimed companies including Protozoa Pictures and Cinetic Media, where she has supported projects from development through execution.
